Finance Analyst

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to play a key role in supporting financial decision-making across the business. This role combines financial reporting, data analysis, and business partnering to provide actionable insights that drive performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing day-to-day accounting duties such as posting invoices, procurement and payments.
- Handling accounts payable activities, including invoice verification, supplier statement reconciliations, and ensuring timely processing of vendor payments.
- Monitoring payment schedules, preparing payment runs, and resolving supplier queries related to outstanding balances or discrepancies.
- Performing reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions in relation to bank accounts.
- Assisting with month-end process leading to the submission of the monthly management accounts and other reports needed by the business including preparation for reviews of business partnering packs sufficient to be the financial decision-making basis for financial reporting, ensuring financial compliance with local and international standards.
- Support aspects of the delivery of the Group’s external audits resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintain compliance with internal control requirements, and other relevant standards.
- An important element of the role is communicating with different stakeholders within Business units in-country, and in organizations across Europe and the Rest of the World, as well as with European management.
- Propose and support implementation of process and control standardization and improvement initiatives.
- Propose and support implementation of ad hoc project and finance transformation activities.
Requirements
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent professional background.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and management accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to non-
- financial stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
