Data Controller

Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Controller to make part of our Operations team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our teams have access to the necessary data to achieve their goals. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that empower our teams with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant solutions.
- Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric and other tools to create comprehensive data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and implement best practices for data governance.
- Continuously optimize data workflows and processes for efficiency.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and support team decisions with data-driven insights
- Monitor, validate, investigate and resolve discrepancies in operations
- Assist with the implementation of new platforms or changes to existing systems, ensuring correct data mapping and flow.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into payment performance and anomalies.
- Collaborate with external vendors or processors to resolve operational data issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data development, with a focus on building scalable data solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric is preferred but not required.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in SQL and data modelling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data warehousing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Understanding of payment processing and related regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in payment solutions is considered a plus.
- Experience with PCI-DSS compliance and GDPR/data privacy practices.
- Familiarity with APIs and data integrations between operational systems.
